In his introductory text, the author, who was Ştefania Cristescu-Golopenţia’s student at the beginning of the 1960s, evokes her personality and her scientific contribution, while reminiscing about special moments from the period when Şt. C.-G. was both his teacher and his class supervisor, in charge of the courses of study for him and his classmates.
