The main peculiarities of textile materials, discovered in different archaeological sites with various conditions of archaeological transformation are considered in the article. The special keeping conditions have a specific influence on the textile material. This conditions change their forms and characteristics of textile materials. As rule, ancient textile is unknown for modern researchers. The artifacts need to be attributed carefully. The attribution of ancient textile materials can be realized on the base of careful description of technological characteristics and comparison of this information between description of textile in special catalogues and museum collections.
