Abstract
Agricultural mechanization is one of many inputs contributing to general productivity. Various forms of mechanization appropriate to the situation in Burundi involves development of animal powered agriculture, use of improved hand tools and agricultural winches. Of course, realization of such a programme implies organisation of a national assistance in both technical and financial fields.
