Abstract

Bu araştırma, İstanbul’da beklenen büyük depremin zamanlamasını, olası etkilerini ve alınması gereken önlemleri incelemektedir. İstanbul, Kuzey Anadolu Fay Hattı’na yakınlığı nedeniyle yüksek sismik riske sahiptir. Bilimsel tahminler, büyüklüğü 7.0 veya daha yüksek bir depremin 2030 yılına kadar %50 ila %65 olasılıkla gerçekleşebileceğini göstermektedir. 23 Nisan 2025’te yaşanan 6.2 büyüklüğündeki deprem, beklenen büyük deprem olmasa da, bölgenin sismik aktivitesini hatırlatmıştır. Bu rapor, mevcut bilimsel verileri, resmi açıklamaları ve gerçek zamanlı deprem verileri sunan web sitelerini analiz ederek, İstanbul’un deprem riskini ve hazırlık süreçlerini değerlendirmektedir.
