About
Dr. Jake Raymund F. Fabregar is a Mathematics Educator, Educational Leader, and Researcher with extensive experience teaching learners across various levels, from grades 6–12 to undergraduate and graduate education. He currently serves as a Mathematics Teacher in the Palmdale School District, California, USA, where he also serves as the District 7th Grade Mathematics Lead, supporting curriculum implementation, instructional improvement, and collaborative professional learning among educators across the district. Prior to his work in the United States, he served as Assistant Professor and Chair of the Teacher Education Department at Cavite State University, Philippines. Dr. Fabregar holds a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Educational Management from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He is a Licensed Professional Teacher in Mathematics in the Philippines and holds a California Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics, demonstrating his continued commitment to excellence, professional growth, and high standards in mathematics education. His scholarly contributions have been presented at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals focusing on educational leadership, teacher education, and mathematics education. His research interests include educational management, mathematics pedagogy, instructional innovation, and evidence-based educational practices. He has contributed to various collaborative research initiatives and externally funded projects, including programs supported by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on Transnational Higher Education (TNHE) and research grants from Cavite State University (CvSU). Through these experiences, he has developed expertise in educational leadership, higher education internationalization, and the application of research to improve educational practice. Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Fabregar actively contributes to educational leadership and professional service. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of IAM FAME, Inc., where he contributes to initiatives that recognize professional excellence, promote leadership, and support the advancement of educators. Dr. Fabregar also actively contributes to educational quality improvement as a Visiting Committee Member for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), supporting accreditation and continuous improvement efforts in the United States. He has facilitated professional development programs for educators, mentored undergraduate and graduate researchers, and participated in academic quality assurance initiatives.
