Mr. Wajid Hussain received his Master’s degree in Molecular Biology with an Outstanding Academic Excellence Award from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, and is currently pursuing his PhD in biosensors and bio-diagnostics from the Advanced Biomaterial and Tissue Engineering Center, HUST, China. His research has mainly focused on rapid pathogen detection using wearable and flexible electrodes, phage therapy, and phage-based bacterial detection. He has conducted research in epidemiology, microbiology, and clinical immunology. Mr. Hussain has published several peer review papers in distinguished journals such as Biotechnology Advances, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, and the International Journal of Macromolecules.
