Abstract

Introduction:  Maternal deaths are one of the most important public health problems in the world and in our country. One of the effective ways to reduce maternal mortality is to provide adequate prenatal care for women during the pregnancy, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The aim of this study is to evaluate the prenatal care services quantitative and qualitatively provided by family doctors in Istanbul, Adalar. Methods: The universe of this cross-sectional and descriptive study were pregnant receiving antenatal care services in Adalar and registered in the Family Medicine Information System
