Dr. Syed Babar Jamal Bacha has a background in bioinformatics, starting with his BS in Bioinformatics in Pakistan. He attended conferences and developed a passion for research during his undergraduate years. He pursued a master's degree and conducted research on Pim Kinases in cancer. His experience earned him an international scholarship for a Ph.D. at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil, where he focused on pathogenic bacteria and genomics. Now established as a computational biologist, he aspires to contribute to disease understanding and cures through research and mentoring. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics at Department of Biological Sciences, National University of Medical Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan.
