Campus Coordinator Program

Represent your university on SciMatic

Campus coordinators bring SciMatic to their own university: they show students and staff the tools, share a personal link, and earn a commission on what the members they bring pay for. Up to 3 coordinators per university.

What a campus coordinator does

Introduce SciMatic on campus

Show students and teachers the free tools: Semester Manager for classes, Thesis Manager for theses, and the thesis repository.

Share your personal link

You get a personal link, a QR code and a short code. Whoever signs up after opening your link, or types your code on the sign-up form, counts as yours for 12 months from the day they sign up.

Help your university publish

Help researchers and students find a journal, publish their articles and put their theses in the repository.

Your own dashboard

See the members you brought, what you have earned, and your university's members, theses, semesters and journals.

Who can apply

  • You have a SciMatic account with a verified e-mail address.
  • Your account is linked to your university (on your profile).
  • Your university has been reviewed by SciMatic.
  • Your university has fewer than 3 campus coordinators.
  • An e-mail address on your university's own domain counts in your favour, but it is not required.
  • An admin reviews every application. The country coordinator of your country can comment on it.

What it pays

20%
First 12 months

of every eligible payment by the members you brought, during your first 12 months as a campus coordinator.

10%
After that

of every eligible payment by the members you brought.

  • A member counts as yours if they sign up in the same visit as opening your link or QR code, or type your code on the sign-up form, and then for 12 months from the day they sign up. If they opened another coordinator's link first in that visit, they count for that coordinator.
  • Eligible payments: article processing charges, thesis repository publication, AI article writing, AI courses, proofreading and other document services, and journal ownership.
  • Printed certificates ordered by the members you brought pay on their own terms: a fixed 25% of their margin (the $50 price minus $24 for printing, postage and payment fees), so $6.50 a certificate, whatever your year.
  • Not eligible: balance top-ups and AI credit purchases (the commission is earned when that balance is spent on something eligible), vouchers, fee waivers and your own payments. Nothing is earned while you hold no active appointment; if you move to another campus, the members you already brought keep counting for you.
  • If a payment is refunded or cancelled, its commission is taken back.
  • Commissions are credited to your SciMatic balance in US dollars, where you can spend them on SciMatic straight away.
  • Cash-out from $50: coming soon.
  • Example: a member you brought pays a $50 publication fee during your first year. You earn $10.
