Wes Harven G. Maravilla, PhD

Dr. Maravilla holds a PhD in English Language Teaching, and an MPA. Combining advanced linguistic skills and management frameworks, he studies English for Specific Purposes, technological teaching methods, and organizational communication for high-risk sectors. Also, aligned with his interest in language and public policy, he studies advanced mathematics and includes data and research methods in his educational studies. With a background in multiple disciplines, he is easily able to tackle the issues of communication, leadership, and teaching in highly specialized environments. In his research, Dr. Maravilla seeks to demonstrate how the combination of language teaching and quantitative methods can contribute to improving the efficiency of workflow, safety, and coordination in the aerospace and aviation sectors. His research interest is the combination of public administration, empirical research, and applied linguistics in order to develop management and teaching methods in the highly changing aerospace sector.
