Dr. Hussain Ullah

Dr. Hussain Ullah is a dedicated and passionate teacher and researcher who earned his PhD degree in inorganic and analytical chemistry from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2018. During his Ph.D., he was a visiting researcher on IRSIP from HEC in 2016 at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor at the Institute of Chemistry, University of Okara, Pakistan. He has a strong commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and excellence in his field, with seven years of experience in both academics and research. His research interests are the synthesis of inorganic materials like coordination complexes, organometallic (organotin) derivatives for biological applications, nanomaterials for multiple applications, environmental chemistry and engineering, water quality and monitoring, waste water treatment, soil analysis, green chemistry, and electrochemical sensors. During his academic journey, he has been marked by winning a research project on atomic absorption for heavy metal analysis in drinking water sources during his M.Phil. in 2012 and as PI of Rs. 1000000/-. Dr. Ullah is a multidisciplinary researcher but is also excited to continue pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and applying his expertise to solve real-world problems. He is also a member of the Pakistan Journal of Chemical Society and has published 22 research articles of various national and international repute. He has presented his research at various international forums. Dr. Ullah is passionate about passing on academic and research knowledge to fresh minds in science.
