There were 5 purposively selected participants in the BSEd-English program who participated in this study. Findings revealed that they have various problems in learning English and use coping mechanisms to deal with it. In the results also, they suggested having programs and activities that will be helpful for the students to improve their English proficiency skills. The study ends with insights and recommendations that will be beneficial for the students to improve their English proficiency skills.
