Abstract
While recent years have seen an explosion of papers from the social sciences in general and anthropology in particular that concern the body, but the studies have been framed within the anthropology of the body are known as very recent , the earliest dating back a decade and a half ago. Dr. Silvia Citro, author of the book reviewed here, works from the mid-90's on this subject and since 2004, coordinates the team of Anthropology of the Body of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the UBA with which it has organized symposia, workshops and research projects related to this field. This book encapsulates many of the searches and debates, theoretical and methodological result of this long journey leading to his new proposal: a "dialectical approach of corporeality" and "ethnography of and from the bodies, " enriched by the theory performances, which is why it becomes an unavoidable reference source for any researcher interested in social scientific analysis of the body.
