Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is rare self-limiting disease with unknown etiology characterized by fever and lymphadenopathy. Laboratory findings are non-specific. Although, viral, chemical agents, and autoimmunity are suggested in etiology, exact cause has not been identified. It is often misdiagnosed as malign lymphoma. Histologically, involved nodes show localized proliferation of histiocytes and immunoblast associated with abundant nuclear debris and tissue necrosis.
