Supervisor II.
The problems discussed in this study are; How will the work environment on the
performance of employees at the Department of Spatial Planning and Human Settlements
Bulukumba?. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the effect of the
working environment on the performance of employees at the Department of Spatial
Planning and Human Settlements Bulukumba.
The research method in this study is a survey research using a quantitative approach with
an explanatory purpose, which is to explain causal relationships and testing hypotheses.
To test the hypothesis of the study used statistical multivariate linear regression test tools
by using IBM SPSS Statistics program version 20.
The study population was all employees at the Department of Spatial Planning and
Human Settlements Bulukumba totaling 56 people. The sampling method is Purvossife
Sampling by setting the sample as an object of research, where these samples have equal
opportunities to study. To get comprehensive data, then used a questionnaire (the
questionnaire) as the primary data source. Observation and documentation as secondary
data sources.
The results showed that 1) The working environment includes the service of work,
working conditions and labor relations are at the low category (2) the performance of
employees at the Department of Spatial Planning and Human Settlements contained in the
high category (3) simultaneously working environment significantly affect performance
employees at the Department of Spatial Planning and Human Settlements Bulukumba. (4)
Test partial indicators show that the working conditions of the most dominant influence,
while the working relationship indicator strongest effect is small.
