goiânia: “miraculous flower of the new state”
Abstract
The following text aims to discuss the transfer process of the state capital of Goiás to Goiânia as a characteristically established attitude of the New State and as such the Revista Oeste (West Magazine) will be used as a main source, which circulated between the years 1942 and 1944, as well as, the book Memórias de Pedro Ludovico Teixeira (Pedro Ludovico Teixeira´s Memories), published in 1973.
