Abstract

In this paper, we provide a literature review ofmodern remote laboratories. According to this review, weexplain why remote laboratories are at a technologicalcrossroad, whereas they were slugging for a decade. Fromvarious observations based on our review, we try to identifypossible evolutions for the next generation of remotelaboratories.
