The purpose of the article is to reflect about the Man´s transcendence as an anthropological constituent that supports the Mission of Catholic Universities, everything enlightened from Karl Rahner´s conception of God’s absolute self-communication. The topic will be shown through a presentation of the ontological dimension of God’s absolute self-communication, the essential anthropological elements for its reception; the transcendental dimension of the Man and the consequences of the Divine´s offer reception.
