Abstract

This article is the result of research conducted in the Specialization of Human Rights at the University of the Basque Country in conjunction with the foundation Asmoz of Spain.The Women as protagonists in the history of the Caribbean. In this regard, the reflections after the First and Second World War gave impetus to the clamor of women to the point that States gradually began to grant rights such as voting, participation in economic and educational sectors. The situations in the Caribbean islands for women were especially difficult because until a little more than half of thetwentieth century were still colonies of European powers like England, France and Holland.
