Abstract
Many universities have introduced entrepreneurshipeducation to promote theinterest of under graduates to becoming future entrepreneurs. Here, we seek theundergraduates’ perceptions on factors that influence them to entrepreneurialintentions. Based on literature search, we identify validated factors used forpredicting entrepreneurial intention. These factorswere adapted to explore onstudents’ perceptions. Survey questionnaires were distributed to four localuniversities by convenient sampling. A total of 196valid data were analyzed usingMultiple Regressions. The results show entrepreneurial intention was predicted bythe need for achievement, family business background, and subjective normsexcept the desire for independence.
