Abstract
This work offers the lines of a non representational theory of the knowledge. For it in §1 the basic characteristics of a representational theory of the knowledge appear and its dependency of visual metaphors is indicated, in §2 the idealistic turn is exposed in which this theory culminates and representational theories that they try to leave the image idea, in §3 appears a critic of the visual reason and a defense of forms of no visual reason, in §4 are reviewed and §5 certain theoretical objections against the nonrepresentational theory are responded, from a distinction between knowledge and production of mental representations, and in §6 possible skeptical objections are responded.
