The objectives of this research are: (1) to produce a product of creative fantasy writing task that is feasible in terms of validity, reliability, and practicality of the product, (2) produce a guide for creative writing writing of a feasible fantasy story in terms of validity, reliability and practicality of the product, and (3) to test and describe the results of experimental test of the assessment instrument product of the creative writing skill of a feasible fantasy story in terms of validity, reliability, and the practicality of the product. The method used is 4D Thiagarajan development model which consists of four stages, namely (1) define, (2) design, (3) development, and (4) disseminate. The results showed that the product of creative writing tasks of fantasy stories and guides asasi creative writing fantasy story has qualified feasible and ready to be implemented. This can be seen from the validation test results in the assessment experts, literary learning experts, and product testing on the seventh grade students of SMP. Tujuan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini, yaitu (1) menghasilkan produk tugas menulis kreatif cerita fantasi yang layak dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan produk, (2) menghasilkan panduan asesmen menulis kreatif cerita fantasi  yang layak dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan produk, dan (3) menguji dan mendeskripsikan hasil uji coba produk instrumen asesmen keterampilan menulis kreatif cerita fantasi yang layak dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu (1) penetapan (define), (2) perancangan (design), (3) pengembangan (development), dan (4) penyebarluasan (disseminate). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk tugas menulis kreatif cerita fantasi dan panduan asemen menulis kreatif cerita fantasi memiliki kualifikasi layak dan siap untuk diimplementasikan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil uji validasi pada ahli asesmen, ahli pembelajaran sastra, dan uji coba produk pada siswa kelas VII SMP.
