Abstract
Deep venous thrombosis is mostly associated with anunderlying risk factor such as venous catheter, infectiousdiseases, hereditary thrombophilia and metabolic diseases.Cancer is one of the most common primary disordersin pediatric venous thrombosis, accounting for onefifthof children with thrombotic events. Here we report a13-year-old female patient who is diagnosed as deepvein thrombosis due to acute myeloid leukemia. J ClinExp Invest 2011; 2(1): 114-117
