Abstract

This article is written to reveal that the results of social studies in junior high school is inseparable from the phenomenon of gender. The phenomenon of gender can be observed through the results of a social subject both at the level of the learning process and the final score. Through varied media images can affirm that dominates female student learning outcomes as compared to male students, either in the process or the final value. The results of this study reinforce the idea that stereotypes are often labeled in men turned out to be a social label for female students.
