Ruth Tiagan-Villarta is a Senior High School Teacher III at Gapok National High School in the Philippines, with over 12 years of experience. She holds a bachelor's degree from Southern Mindanao Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts in Teaching English from Sultan Kudarat State University. Currently pursuing her PhD in Language Education, Ruth is a published author of the "New English-Manobo Lexicography" and has received multiple awards, including Outstanding Global Educator and Outstanding Research Teacher of the Year. She actively advocates for Indigenous Peoples and has designed programs to enhance literacy and academic achievement among all learners.
