{"abstract":"This quantitative study investigated the 21st-century instructional leadership skills of school heads and teachers’ performance management in Lambayong 3 District, along with the relationship between these factors and school heads' National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) category. A survey questionnaire was used, and total enumeration sampling was applied to select respondents. School heads reported positive 21st-century instructional leadership skills, with an overall mean of 4.15 across advocacy and leadership, results-oriented teams, adult professional culture, and continuous improvement of teaching expertise. Teachers’ performance management showed a strong level, with an overall mean of 4.34 in terms of leadership styles, work environment, and motivation to affiliate. Regarding NQESH categories, 7 (63.63%) school heads were in Category A, and 4 (36.36%) were in Category C. Pearson r correlation revealed that 21st-century instructional leadership significantly affects teachers’ performance management (r=0.50). However, a Chi-squared test indicated that the NQESH category of school heads has no significant effect on teachers’ performance management.
