{"abstract":"This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of suggestopedia in teaching literature to Grade 11 students at Zapatera National High School, Cebu City, during the 2022-2023 academic year. Using a quasi-experimental design with 60 students divided into control and experimental groups, the study compares pretest and posttest performances. The experimental group received instruction through suggestopedia, while the control group followed traditional lecture-based methods. Both groups showed improvement in posttest scores, but the experimental group achieved significantly higher results. These findings suggest that suggestopedia enhances literature instruction, making learning more enjoyable and meaningful, and fostering a deeper understanding of the material.
