{"abstract":"This study explored the lived experiences of Gen Z breadwinners in Midsayap, Cotabato, focusing on their challenges, coping mechanisms, and insights. Using a qualitative phenomenological research design, the study involved six (6) young adult breadwinners aged twenty-four (24) to twenty-six (26). Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings revealed that young adult breadwinners assumed breadwinning roles due to financial constraints, family crises, and cultural expectations. They experienced work-life imbalance, emotional strain, and personal sacrifices but demonstrated resilience through financial management, social support, and perseverance. The study concludes that breadwinning fosters maturity despite its challenges and responsibilities.
