Abstract

This study aimed to determine the factors affecting teachers' work performance in selected public secondary schools in the Binangonan District Office, Division of Rizal, during the School Year 2024-2025. Using a descriptive survey design, data were collected from 400 teachers selected through simple random sampling. A researcher-developed questionnaire measured the perceived extent of four factors: the salary structure, organizational policies, physical working conditions, and interpersonal relations, while teachers' work performance was determined using their Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form (IPCRF) ratings. Descriptive statistics, F-tests, and Pearson correlation were employed to analyze the data. Results showed that salary structure, physical working conditions, and interpersonal relations were perceived as often affecting teachers' work performance, while organizational policies were perceived as moderately affecting performance. Teachers generally demonstrated very satisfactory performance based on IPCRF results. No significant differences were found in the perceived extent of these factors across groups defined by teachers' demographic and professional profiles. Moreover, no significant relationship was found between the perceived extent of the factors and teachers' actual work performance. These findings highlight teachers' professionalism and resilience while underscoring the need for sustained institutional support to maintain and enhance performance.
