Abstract
This study on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) explored its advantages, obstacles, and effects on both students and teachers, providing important insights into its role in promoting personal development, social awareness, and critical thinking. The study emphasized the necessity of collaboration among educators, parents, and stakeholders to establish a supportive atmosphere for discussing sensitive subjects while empowering students to make informed choices. The varied strategies employed by teachers, such as active learning, multimedia use, assessments, and motivational techniques, boosted student engagement and inclusivity, even in the face of challenges like uneven workloads and gaps in knowledge. Tackling issues like language barriers, cultural sensitivities, and limited resources was essential for the successful delivery of CSE. Professional development was identified as a crucial resource for enhancing teachers’ confidence and ability to address sensitive topics, highlighting the importance of specialized training programs, increased funding, and inclusive teaching materials. The use of multimedia tools, online resources, and institutional support has been vital in closing resource gaps, fostering adaptability, and enhancing classroom engagement. CSE was acknowledged as a crucial strategy for tackling societal challenges such as early pregnancies and gender-based violence. Nevertheless, cultural misunderstandings and resistance posed significant obstacles. Employing culturally sensitive teaching methods, encouraging active parental involvement, and engaging the community were vital for promoting acceptance and ensuring effective implementation. This study highlighted the transformative potential of innovative teaching practices and collaborative efforts in delivering impactful CSE, ultimately contributing to healthier and more informed communities.
