Abstract

Innovation and technology serve as the pen and paper of our present generation; thus, educators play an important role in conveying knowledge and understanding of their usefulness in nurturing the young minds of today. By DepEd Order No. 35, s.2016, collaborative learning sessions such as Learning Action Cell (LAC) are one way for teachers to respond to changes and new trends in our present curriculum. This is a tool where everyone can communicate, listen to one another, and share ideas for overcoming difficulties in the existing teaching and learning process. This workshop on encoding quarterly grades by learning area and LIS updates is intended to improve the knowledge and expertise of our teachers as they explore the field of LIS. It also serves as an encouragement for everyone to interact, collaborate, and support one another.
