Abstract
This study aimed to determine the influence of effective skills management and strategic planning analysis on the human development of the members of the Arabic Facilitators Association of Tagum (AFAT), LGU Tagum. Specifically, it sought to assess the levels of effective skills management, strategic planning analysis, and human development, as well as examine the significant relationship and influence of the independent variables on human development. The study employed a quantitative non-experimental research design utilizing a correlational approach. Members of AFAT, LGU Tagum, served as the respondents of the study. Mean, Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, and Linear Regression Analysis were used as statistical tools in analyzing the data. The findings revealed that the respondents demonstrated a high level of effective skills management and strategic planning analysis, indicating strong engagement in capacity-building activities, organizational planning, and the development of professional competencies. Likewise, the level of human development among the members was found to be high, reflecting positive growth in knowledge, skills, leadership capabilities, personal effectiveness, and overall professional development. The results further showed a significant relationship between effective skills management, strategic planning analysis, and human development. Moreover, both effective skills management and strategic planning analysis were found to significantly influence human development, highlighting their vital role in enhancing the competencies, productivity, and overall growth of the members. The study concludes that strengthening skills management practices and promoting strategic planning initiatives are essential in fostering human development within organizations. These efforts contribute to the continuous improvement of individual capabilities, organizational effectiveness, and sustainable development. The findings may serve as a basis for developing programs and policies aimed at enhancing professional growth, leadership development, and organizational performance among members of AFAT and similar organizations.
