Rago Memorial National High School, drawing on theories of second language acquisition. Data were collected using TOEFL Test of Writing English (TWE) results and final grades in English, Science, and Mathematics, then analyzed with frequency count, sum, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test/ANOVA, and Pearson r. The respondent profile showed more females than males, with most families earning Php 5,001-Php10,000 monthly, and most parents having finished high school. Overall, students' writing proficiency in English was basic, and their academic achievement was satisfactory. A significant difference in writing proficiency was found based on sex, but not on monthly family income or parental educational attainment. Academic achievement showed significant differences based on sex and monthly family income, but not on parental education. A significant, high correlation was found between writing proficiency in English and academic achievement.
