{"abstract":"This study examined the influence of good governance and educational practices on livelihood sustainability among private school communities in the Central Mindanao Mission, Bukidnon. Using a descriptive-correlational design, data were collected from 119 respondents, including school administrators and teachers, through a structured survey questionnaire. Results revealed that good governance in terms of transparency (M = 4.28), accountability (M = 4.05), and community participation (M = 4.18) were all rated high. Similarly, educational practices such as skill development (M = 4.19), entrepreneurship education (M = 4.25), and community engagement (M = 4.13) were also perceived at a high level. However, livelihood sustainability indicators, including household income (M = 3.13), employment opportunities (M = 2.92), and access to resources (M = 2.92), were rated moderate, indicating persistent economic challenges among stakeholders. Inferential analysis showed no significant relationship between governance and educational practices and livelihood sustainability (p > 0.05), suggesting that external factors may play a more substantial role in shaping economic outcomes. The findings highlight the need for more targeted, outcome-driven interventions that directly address income generation, employment, and resource accessibility in private school communities.","abstract_source":"original","authors":["Glenda Base","Wilfredo Miasco"],"date":"2026-08-10","doi":"10.70838/pemj.610305","id":9070,"issue":3,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"fa477da24a85311a4f6006e00e7f32b7c2e795a52a8c8775fa255b8ebc1705a5","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Good Governance and Educational Practices as Drivers of Livelihood Enhancement in Private School Communities in the Central Mindanao Mission, Bukidnon","volume":61}
