{"abstract":"This action research determined 102 teachers' multi-hazard preparedness awareness at Dilangalen National High School and addressed their disaster management needs using a multi-hazard digitized toolkit. A descriptive research design employed a survey questionnaire and semi-structured interviews, with data analyzed using weighted means, t-tests, and thematic analysis. Before the toolkit's use, teachers showed a moderate level of awareness of risk reduction disaster management across all hazard types. After the intervention, their awareness became very high for all hazard types and disaster response. The teachers' awareness significantly increased post-intervention, with the toolkit having a large effect on this improvement. Teachers reported various experiences but found the toolkit advantageous for learning and disaster response. The study concluded that the multi-hazard digitized toolkit was very effective, largely increasing teachers' awareness, and was considered easy, accessible, comprehensive, and informative for risk reduction efforts.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Rugie Joy Madrones","Charlyn Montecillo","Ma.
