{"abstract":"Despite Department of Education responses, a shortage of classrooms for Senior High School students persisted, evidenced by DJANHS’s two-year comparative enrollment data showing a 29.23% and 24.29% decrease in Grade 10 completers enrolling for Grade 11 from academic years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, respectively. Focus group discussions identified students transferring to schools with multi-story buildings as a major cause. This study aimed to improve students’ extrinsic motivational level amid the pandemic using the Pap’s Localized Mobile Classroom. The intervention involved 18 Grade 11 student-respondents in S.Y. 2021-2022, identified via probability sampling. A pre-test and post-test, analyzed with the Wilcoxon Rank test, assessed motivational levels before and after the mobile classroom’s operation, which included physical facilities, teacher assistance, and reinforcement. Before the intervention, students were Moderately Motivated (X̄=2.40); afterward, they were Highly Motivated (X̄=3.32).
