{"abstract":"This research investigates the relationship between organizational climate and school effectiveness using hierarchical regression analysis. Organizational climate, a multifaceted construct, reflects the relational, social, psychological, affective, intellectual, cultural, and moral atmosphere within educational institutions. The study synthesizes existing empirical research to determine how specific dimensions of organizational climate—including school culture, teacher-student relationships, academic rigor, collegial leadership, and institutional climate—predict key indicators of school effectiveness. These indicators include academic achievement, standardized test scores, student behavior, teacher morale, and overall institutional performance. This study examines a sample of 30 students and 10 educational personnel across three institutions: Salabaca National High School, Isulan National High School, and SKSU Isulan Campus. The student sample represents diverse socioeconomic (32% low-income, 54% middle-income, 14% high-income) and ethnic/language backgrounds (78% Maguindanaon, 12% Ilocano, 5% Cebuano, 5% other Filipino). Findings consistently underscore organizational climate as a significant predictor of school effectiveness. Hierarchical regression analyses reveal that school climate often accounts for a substantial amount of variance in student achievement and organizational performance, even after controlling for socioeconomic factors and prior student performance. The paper explores theoretical frameworks, methodological approaches, and practical implications for educational leaders, offering recommendations for enhancing school effectiveness through targeted climate improvement initiatives.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Jena Mae Fatagani-Valerio","Jay Renee Valerio","Ronielyn Pinsoy"],"date":"2026-04-14","doi":"10.70838/pemj.550110","id":7606,"issue":1,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"1a7a99df5c5079c46bb4057a0f24eaa4940689d6fd673a7f82ba5c0e7cb3f6ee","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Examining the Impact of Organizational Climate on School Effectiveness: A Hierarchical Regression Approach","volume":55}
