This study aimed to determine the reading level of these Grade 3 pupils before and after an intervention, the significant difference between these levels, the intervention's effect size, and the pupils' experiences during the intervention. The intervention, \"Project Kabasabado,\" involved parents and family members of the struggling readers, with the teacher-researcher providing them with skills and resources like movies and extra reading materials to assist students at home.
