{"abstract":"This descriptive-correlation study investigated the relationship between mental health literacy, resilience, and psychological well-being among 53 children in conflict with the law at the Pag-asa Youth Rehabilitation Center. The respondents demonstrated a high level of mental health literacy (mean = 3.03), resilience (mean = 3.37), and psychological well-being (mean = 3.31). A significant relationship was found between mental health literacy and resilience (p = 0.001), indicating that higher mental health literacy correlates with higher resilience. There was no significant relationship between mental health literacy and psychological well-being (p = 0.078). A significant relationship was also observed between resilience and psychological well-being (p = 0.000), suggesting that higher resilience is associated with higher psychological well-being. The study concluded that these children possess good mental health knowledge, are capable of recovery from negative experiences, and maintain good mental health with high life satisfaction. Higher mental health literacy leads to higher resilience, and higher resilience leads to higher psychological well-being, though mental health literacy does not directly determine psychological well-being.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Miguel Lintag"],"date":"2022-11-09","doi":"10.5281/zenodo.7306182","id":718,"issue":6,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"807769bcac452cdbd776caf1f6453ed170f31b0145758a78b98a209915abe518","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Mental Health Literacy, Resilience and Psychological Well-Being of Children in Conflict with the Law at Pag-Asa Youth Rehabilitation Center","volume":5}
