{"abstract":"This qualitative study investigated the coping mechanisms of 12 Elementary School Heads in Masbate Province when facing challenges in curriculum implementation and human resources management. Data were gathered through face-to-face and online interviews, and a research questionnaire, then analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings revealed that School Heads employ coping mechanisms for curriculum implementation challenges related to teacher readiness, resilience, adaptability, limited resources and infrastructure, time constraints, assessment issues, parental and community participation, political/administrative issues, and student-centered concerns. For human resources, coping mechanisms address teacher retention, mental health and well-being, workplace practices, inclusivity, rule observance, skill development, training, resources, financial support, and technology issues. The study recommends LAC Sessions, Focus Group Discussions, sound resource management, engaging activities for learners, community stakeholder involvement, parental engagement, diverse curriculum catering, and infrastructure improvement. For human resources, recommendations include regular meetings, feedback, reward mechanisms, out-of-school gatherings, LAC sessions on conflict and stress management, training, performance evaluations, compliance training, ICT upskilling, resolving financial constraints, and managing skills and diversity.
