{"abstract":"This dissertation assessed the mental health, adversity quotient, and teaching practices of 546 public secondary teachers in the Division of Bohol during the 2020-2021 academic year. The study also profiled respondents by age, sex, civil status, number of subjects, educational attainment, and length of service. Mental health was evaluated across life satisfaction, positive affect, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Adversity quotient focused on control, ownership, reach, and endurance. Teaching practices were assessed in instruction, communication, time management, and technical competence. A descriptive-correlational design used weighted mean, Two-way Chi-square Test, and Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient. Findings indicated highly stable mental health and high levels of teaching practices, particularly in communication and time management. However, teachers showed only average levels of adversity quotient across all four dimensions. The respondents' profile was insignificantly related to mental health, adversity quotient, and teaching practices, except for civil status and highest educational attainment, which were significantly associated with adversity quotient. The study concluded that mental health is crucial for teachers to overcome workplace adversities and succeed in modular distance learning.
