{"abstract":"This quasi-experimental study, employing a one-group pretest-posttest design, focused on developing and validating DepEd-TESDA Competency-Based Learning Materials (CBLM) in Computer Systems Servicing to enhance the academic performance and job readiness of Grade 12 ICT students. The participants were 36 Grade 12 ICT students (24 male, 12 female) from Gov. Felicisimo T. San Luis National Agro-Industrial Integrated High School, selected via purposive sampling. Research instruments included the developed CBLM, a validation tool for the CBLM, and an assessment tool (pretest and post-test). Statistical analysis utilized Weighted Mean, Standard Deviation, paired t-test, and Cohen's d. The developed learning materials were validated by experts and passed reliability tests. Results indicated a significant positive difference and improved academic performance after students utilized the CBLM. The study concluded that the developed learning material had a positive outcome and can serve as a teaching resource to help students elevate their performance, become globally competitive, and pass the TESDA National Assessment.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Juliet Coronado","Edilberto Andal"],"date":"2025-09-09","doi":"10.70838/pemj.460704","id":6353,"issue":7,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"93843d043ed11fabf7f4947500d42be1ee84b62abfbd47f8e0168b2dd365a928","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Development of DepEd-Tesda Competency-Based Learning Materials in Computer Systems Servicing","volume":46}
