{"abstract":"This study assessed the impact of educational management practices on data-driven decision-making among school administrators in Florida, USA, towards a sustainable framework. Employing a descriptive correlational design, the research investigated the relationship between educational management practices and data-driven decision-making. A modified instrument was used with 160 teacher respondents and 30 school administrator respondents, totaling 190, selected via purposive sampling. Findings indicate school administrators excel in educational management areas such as leadership, decision-making, resource management, curriculum and instruction monitoring, staff development, professional growth, communication, and stakeholder involvement. Significant differences were found between administrators' and teachers' evaluations of educational management practices in leadership, decision-making, resource allocation, curriculum supervision, staff development, and communication. Administrators are highly engaged in data-driven decision-making, demonstrating skills in data collection, accessibility, use for planning and goal-setting, analysis, interpretation, instructional and operational decision-making, and technology-based data management. Differences between administrators and teachers were noted in data collection, planning, analysis, instructional decisions, and technology use. A strong association exists between school administrators' instructional management techniques and data-driven decision-making. Recommendations include encouraging transparency in data use, ensuring reliable data management tools, and promoting professional development for teachers in data utilization.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Rosette Javier","Jay Baylon"],"date":"2025-08-18","doi":"10.70838/pemj.450305","id":6176,"issue":3,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"b87d244d7c2822f07a94919ae2b02472624c6b0bfcae0aed0f478b2bfc07ec4c","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"The Impact of Educational Management Practices on the Data Driven Decision Making among School Administrators in Florida, USA Towards Sustainable Framework","volume":45}
