{"abstract":"This study examined the correlation between teacher-led instructional leadership practices and student academic performance in senior high schools in Quezon Province, Philippines, during the 2024-2025 school year. Utilizing a descriptive correlational design and a modified instrument, the study assessed teacher-led instructional leadership practices and student learning outcomes. Findings revealed that teacher-led instructional leadership practices, including vision and inspiration, professional development, student empowerment, relationship building, and innovative practices, were greatly practiced (M = 3.90, SD = 0.18 by teachers; M = 3.67, SD = 0.21 by students). Students demonstrated high competence in learning outcomes (M = 3.91, SD = 0.19 by teachers; M = 3.70, SD = 0.23 by students), particularly in engagement, growth, behavioral outcomes, feedback, and collaboration. A significant difference (p < .05) was observed in the assessment of practices and outcomes between teachers and students. A moderate positive correlation (r = .355, p < .001) was found between instructional leadership and learning outcomes. These results informed the development of a training program to enhance instructional leadership among teachers, recommending regular professional development, student-centered practices, technology integration, and a growth mindset for students.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Karen May Manguiat"],"date":"2025-06-27","doi":"10.70838/pemj.410306","id":5674,"issue":3,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"2e035c9ef79637270bf83bf2e2244abf80becfc373f883f041f562d0cb5c8ffd","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Teacher-Led Instructional Leadership Practices and Student Learning Outcomes in Senior High School: Input to Training Program","volume":41}
