{"abstract":"This research investigated the connections between job satisfaction, motivation, leadership styles, and teachers' performance in five districts of Misamis Oriental Division during the School Year 2024-2025. A predictive-correlational design engaged 245 teachers chosen via proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using the Teacher Job Satisfaction Questionnaire, Work Tasks Motivation Scale for Teachers, DISC Profile, 360-degree leadership feedback, and the Results-Based Performance Management System. Multiple regression analysis and structural equation modeling were utilized. Participants showed a very high level of job satisfaction (M=4.76, SD=.52) and motivation (M=4.79, SD=.43). Teachers perceived their school heads as exhibiting very high levels of leadership across all styles (M=4.40, SD=.804), predominantly transformational and democratic. A very high level of performance was observed among respondents (M=4.77, SD=.429). Motivation was the strongest indicator of performance, followed by job satisfaction. The structural equation modeling analysis verified that motivation served as the essential link connecting leadership, job satisfaction, and performance. The study affirms that teacher performance is shaped primarily by motivation, strengthened through transformational leadership and job satisfaction.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Andrian Tecson","Elvy Malabo"],"date":"2025-06-28","doi":"10.70838/pemj.410405","id":5667,"issue":4,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"46bdc2dc8fc97e696f1bf903aa99b431c6a0688b17a22d307505aa943a0a69dd","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Job Satisfaction, Motivation, Leadership Styles, and Teachers’ Performance: A Structural Model","volume":41}
