{"abstract":"This study evaluated teachers’ curriculum support for module use in teaching during the pandemic and its effects on learners’ academic performance in Araling Panlipunan across four schools in Lantapan East District, Division of Bukidnon, during SY 2020-2021. A researcher-made survey-questionnaire was administered to teachers from Valbueco ES, Bugcaon ES, Bantuanon ES, and Balila ES. Statistical tools included descriptive statistics (frequency count, percentage, mean, standard deviation), t-test, and Pearson r. Respondents were generally middle-aged, held Baccalaureate Degrees with MA units, and attended 1-2 seminars/webinars on module use. Findings revealed a high extent of teachers’ curriculum support in areas such as teachers as front liners, learning resources, learning environment, school leadership and management, and community industry relevance and partnership. Most pupils exhibited satisfactory academic performance. No significant relationship was found between any variable and pupils’ academic performance. Recommendations include teachers complying with promotion requirements, school heads conducting close monitoring and motivation to sustain high support, parents helping children stay focused, and the Department of Education demanding very high teacher curriculum support to improve pupil academic performance in Araling Panlipunan.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Alice Guillera","Aida Selecios"],"date":"2025-06-08","doi":"10.70838/pemj.390802","id":5481,"issue":8,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"a57d7667881b8d948d3391d19fb9be8e157694cb2b38dec97b0a63997b9b7040","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Teachers’ Curriculum Support to Use Modules in Teaching During Pandemic Period and Learners’ Academic Performance in Araling Panlipunan","volume":39}
