{"abstract":"This study aimed to determine the extent of challenges encountered and the extent of strategies adopted by teachers in the face-to-face modality in relation to the performance of pupils. This quantitative study was conducted among 129 public elementary school teachers for the school year 2022-2023 in the District of La Castellana II. Findings revealed that majority of the respondents were female, married and with more than ten years of teaching experience. The challenges greatly encountered were on educational trends and technology. Individualized instruction was the strategy frequently adopted. Pupils’ academic performance showed satisfactory result.
