Data was gathered using a standardized questionnaire based on the Enhanced Regional Unified Numeracy Test (ERUNT) for integers and self-learning modules for polynomials. Eighty participants were divided into a control group (40 students) and an experimental group (40 students). For the control group, the pre-test mean for integer operations was 20.20, increasing to a post-test mean of 26.38. For polynomial operations, the pre-test mean was 2.40, increasing to 7.83. For the experimental group, the pre-test mean for integer operations was 19.17 (nearly proficient), increasing to 27.78 (nearly proficient). For polynomial operations, the pre-test mean was 2.37 (not proficient), increasing to 9.70 (low proficient).
