Using a descriptive method and questionnaires, the study found that most respondents were 15-16 years old (55%), female (58%), and in grade 10 (33%). Key findings regarding formative assessment impacts included teacher compliments (mean 4.48) under Reward, and receiving feedback to identify weaknesses (mean 4.26) under Feedback.
