{"abstract":"This study focused on developing Android-based Learning Materials in Genetics, aligned with the Senior High School Curriculum Guide in General Biology 2 (K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum for STEM Track) at Morong National High School in the 2021-2022 school year. Employing developmental and descriptive research methods, the study involved evaluating the developed mobile application using a modified tool and questionnaire-checklists. Twenty science teachers and twenty ICT experts assessed the material across instructional content, curriculum alignment, depth of knowledge, learner engagement interactivity, graphics and multimedia, layouts, operation, and performance. Data analysis revealed that the Android-Based Learning Materials in Genetics were designed and constructed in alignment with current curriculum competencies. The evaluation showed a 100% \"Highly Agree\" interpretation across all assessed aspects. The developed materials were concluded to be generally efficient, simple to learn, easy to navigate, appealing, engaging, and pedagogically constructive, effectively supporting mobile learning. Recommendations include using the materials to facilitate teaching-learning, future revisions based on competency needs and learning styles, potential adaptation for iOS devices, automatic content updates, and encouraging use by other science teachers.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Reysan Dolojan"],"date":"2024-11-01","doi":"10.5281/zenodo.14020533","id":3858,"issue":4,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"17131071933d154334b9ee191adb68ba2968266f69ad0f0cfe810927603be904","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Android-Based Learning Materials in Genetics","volume":27}
